Little Women — a CHRIST Theatre Production
The March sisters take the Sky View stage — a partner production demo
The Department of Theatre Studies stages Louisa May Alcott’s classic this August. Meet the cast, peek into rehearsals — and book your seats on BookMyShow. (Demo article.)
Not a period piece but a journey through memory — Alcott revisits the moments that shaped her life, and the March sisters return with them.

Through the author's eyes. The past comes alive once more. As Alcott revisits the memories that shaped her life, the March sisters — Meg, Jo, Beth and Amy — return to the stage. Joy and heartbreak walk in together. So do hope and loss. In this telling, they are inseparable.
A living collection of memories. The performance blends dramatic theatre, expressive movement and cinematic visual storytelling. It unfolds like a box of keepsakes opened one by one. Moments of laughter. First love. Impossible choices. Quiet goodbyes.
More than a coming-of-age story. This is a celebration of family, of resilience, and of the invisible threads that bind us across time. The novel is more than 150 years old. Its questions have not aged a day. How do we find the courage to become ourselves? What do we carry when the people we love are gone? And can love ever truly disappear?

The production reimagines Alcott's novel as an intimate journey through memory.
Every costume in these portraits was made for this staging. The company photographed the full ensemble before rehearsals moved to the hall — the studio series you see here is the first look anyone outside the room has had.
In the end, this is a story about the home we carry within us. Memory, the production insists, is not where love goes to fade. It is what keeps the people we love forever close.
