Who we are

Christ University Arts & Events is the official ticketing and cultural platform of Christ (Deemed to be University), Bengaluru. We produce and present opera, concerts, theatre and recitals on the university's campus, and we sell admission to those performances directly on this site.

The platform is operated by the university's Arts & Events team. Performances are staged by university faculty, students and invited professional artists.

What we sell

We sell admission tickets to live performances — nothing else. A ticket is for one named performance on one date, at a seat or an admission category you choose during booking. Prices are shown on each performance's page and again on the checkout page before any payment is taken.

Tickets are delivered electronically. After payment you receive an email containing your ticket as a PDF with a QR code, usually within a few minutes. Nothing is posted and nothing is shipped. Entry is by scanning that QR code at the venue; each code admits one person and is accepted once.

Where performances take place

Performances are held in the university's auditoria in Bengaluru, principally the St. Kuriakose Elias Auditorium. The venue for each performance, with its date and start time, is stated on that performance's page and printed on the ticket.

Beyond the box office

Alongside ticketing the site carries an artist directory, a journal of writing about the work, news from the department, and an archive of past productions. Artist profiles are published only with that artist's consent.
