The conference focuses on the theme "Art in Action: Practitioner Pedagogues and the UN Sustainable Development Goals in Visual and Performing Arts," exploring how creative practice and education intersect with global sustainability.
Day 3 focused on the impact and outreach of music research in the modern world.
The session included the role of women composers in Carnatic music and the enduring lessons of Guru-Sishya Parampara for contemporary times.
Presented on the final day was also a look at the flow of knowledge within contemporary South Asian communities of ritual performers.
